Unless I’ve got it wrong, this was a trip to order some roses by his friend. A very good friend as they managed to visit an even better friend and seemingly enjoyed a free dinner. No mention of the purpose for ordering the roses, but in my limited vocabulary, Roses equal Ladies. Would that be correct ?
