Today was almost a training run, the weather was kind and by way of a change, nothing untoward happened all day. It was literally a ‘No Banner Headline Day’.
A ‘glorious day out’ was to be Charlie’s verdict.

Charlie really impresses me with the ease with which he devours the miles on a far-from-modern bicycle over far-from-flat (and probably often far-from-smooth) roads. Ah, to be young again!
His chain trouble in the previous entry reminds me that I need to replace the timing chains on the tandem before the winter ends on the Canadian prairies …
